And comon dude, I find it hard to believe that you don’t have the confidence to sell yourself. More importantly, what the heck is confidence? Is it really something that’s innate or something that can be achieved?
I’m so used to being self-deprecating that when I am put in a situation where I have to blow my own pipes, I feel like a fish out of water. You see, I can really sell myself as the erudite gentleman with eclectic tastes. But selling myself as a programmer is not my forte.
I think confidence depends on what you had for breakfast. Seriously, I can be quite confident when I’ve had a good breakfast. Its not innate. Its something thats acheived.
