Saw a Wednesday yesterday night. This was one of the best movies I have watched in a long time. The entire movie rests merely on his laurels and he doesn’t disappoint *at all*. If you haven’t watched it already, I highly recommend it.
I agree with you. Incidentally, i watched A Wednesday a few days after the Mumbai Terror Attacks last year. Considering that I was there in Mumbai then, people i knew were directly impacted with the event – the impact of this movie was supreme for me.
I love the concept. I love the execution. Each character has done justice to their roles. Its a movie i’d subscribe to all, everyone.
Common man has a lot to learn from it. Movie makers also have good tips on how to make a simple story gripping as hell.
Pardon my long comment, but A Wednesday is such, one hell of a movie!
Don’t even bother saying sorry. I agree with you totally. I was just discussing with a friend yesterday regarding the recent sharp increase in movies that go beyond the entertainment genre. It is happening in Bollywood, and other regional film industries within India. Some are good humor, while there are amazing movies like Khosla ka Ghosla, A Wednesday, Dev D etc.
I am psyched!!
