Reliance Jio, famous for dramatically lowering India's notoriously high cellular pricing by rolling out free 4G connectivity across the country is back.

Jio is rolling out a "free" PC to every home through its broadband. It's a cloud hosted PC that's available with a broadband connection / ₹ 5600 (~$64). Personally I am fascinated by this as it's a narrative violation.
The narrative is India jumped over the PC to the mobile phone revolution. If Jio becomes successful, then it's not that mobile computing is better or that Indians didn't really want it, it was simpler - it was still not affordable. If they are successful, this is also a fascinating race to watch. Similar to the mobile game where Google won bigly because of the crashing mobile data pricing in India, which LLM is going to get used more? And how does that change the race?
